Height Limits
On corner lots, Gastonia bans fences, shrubs or other plantings between two and ten feet tall inside a sight triangle at street intersections. The triangle runs 25 feet from the lot corner along streets with 50 feet or less of right-of-way, or 40 feet from the corner on wider streets, under City Code § 7-7. Natural grade and retaining walls are exempt.
