Parkway Planting
In the City of La Habra, Municipal Code § 12.20.030 puts the parkway maintenance division foreman in charge of where street trees go, and it sets minimum spacing of fifty feet from another parkway tree, twenty feet from utility poles, light standards or driveways, and ten feet from any gas meter, water meter or fire hydrant. A tree cannot go in a parkway narrower than thirty inches without the supervisor's approval.
