Lakewood's zoning code lets residents grow crops, run plant nurseries, and keep bees in most zoning districts, but LMC 18A.40.030(B)(3) bans cows, sheep, goats, swine, llamas, and other livestock in every zoning district in the city. Horses survive only where an equestrian use already existed on September 1, 2001 in the R1 or R2 districts. Poultry and rabbits are allowed as an accessory use, subject to strict setbacks and a per-acre cap.
