Los Banos requires every food handler, defined broadly to include cooks, waiters, bakers, butchers and anyone preparing or serving food for the public, to hold a valid health certificate signed by the Health Officer under Los Banos Municipal Code § 6-2.02. Employers who let an uncertified worker handle food are equally liable under the same section.
