Anyone peddling door-to-door in Oklahoma City needs a license from the Supervisor of Licenses under Municipal Code Section 39-31 before doing business. Section 39-32 requires a sworn application with the applicant's name, birthdate, Social Security number, description of goods, sales-tax registration, and police-taken photographs and fingerprints, plus an Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation background check no more than 30 days old.
