Primary-Residence-Only Rule
Every short-term rental permit in the City of Pacifica requires the operator to actually live at the rental property as a primary residence. Municipal Code Section 9-4.4903(c) requires at least three forms of documentation proving occupancy for more than six months of the year, including a state or federal ID, before the City will issue a permit.
