Data Center Zoning & Siting

Renton has no standalone data-center use category; RMC 4-11-040(D) folds data centers into "Warehousing" under RMC 4-11-230(D). The zoning use table permits Warehousing, and therefore data centers, only in the Light, Medium and Heavy Industrial zones through an Administrative Conditional Use Permit, and prohibits it everywhere else in the city.
