Ridgefield occupants must store refuse, garbage and organic waste so it cannot feed or shelter rodents and insects, under Town Code § 305-16(A). Storage containers must be watertight and secured against pests. If garbage or debris piles up and invites rodents, the Director of Health can order the owner or occupant to remove it under § 305-17.
