Code Sec. 3-6-2(b) cuts the daytime 300-foot audibility threshold to 100 feet from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from midnight to 7 a.m. heading into Saturday and Sunday. Radios, stereos, musical instruments and amplifiers that carry that far violate the ordinance, and county officers can cite the source regardless of whether it sits on private property.
