Park Event Permits
Anyone wanting to reserve county park land in unincorporated Burke County for a gathering, vendor sale or event applies for a permit through the parks and recreation department under Code § 50-103. Selling food or drinks or running an activity for a fee also needs written authorization from the parks director under § 50-122, and violating the permit article is a $100 civil offense under § 50-123.
