In unincorporated Champaign County, a DATA CENTER is allowed only as a special use in the AG-2, B-4 and I-1 zoning districts. Before a Zoning Use Permit issues, the fire protection district must approve the site in writing and the petitioner must give Planning & Zoning a written security-features explanation.
