Fireworks
Craven County bans fireworks of any type in every public recreation area and at both county boat landings, allowing them only at events the Recreation and Parks Department has approved and permitted in advance. Sections 28-1(15)d and 28-26(c) use nearly identical language to close the same loophole at parks and at the Cowpen and Spring Garden boat landings.
