Houston County limits residential yard sales and garage sales to two sales per year, capped at two days each, under section 42-5 of the general code. Commercial-zoned property can host sales only if held entirely inside an enclosed building. Violating the limit is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $500.00, up to 90 days in jail, or both.
