Historic-Cultural Monuments

In unincorporated Island County, land within the Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve is protected under Island County Code chapter 17.04A. Contributing structures, National Register listings, and designated "protected cultural resources" cannot be altered, demolished, or built near without a certificate of appropriateness from the Planning Director or the seven-member Ebey's Reserve Historic Preservation Commission.
