Anyone under 18 must be off public streets, businesses, and other public places in unincorporated Jefferson County by 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, midnight Friday and Saturday, and before 5 a.m. any day. The Sheriff's Office enforces the rule, adopted by ordinance effective September 1, 2026, with fines up to $300 per violation.

Park Curfew

Jeffco Open Space parks are open one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Entering or occupying Open Space Lands during closed hours (unless posted otherwise) is unlawful, with a $100 fine. Three urban parks - Crown Hill, Van Bibber, Welchester - keep extended 5 a.m.-11 p.m. hours.
