Juvenile Curfew

Unemancipated minors cannot loiter, wander or roam by vehicle on public streets, parks or businesses in unincorporated Kern County between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., under Ordinance Code Section 9.28.020. Minors accompanied by a parent or adult over 21, or engaged in work, school, or emergency errands, are exempt, and a violation is a $100 infraction handled in juvenile court.
