Pool Permits
Macon County's Electrical Code splits residential pools into two classes for wiring purposes: permanently installed pools built into the ground versus storable pools no deeper than 42 inches with nonmetallic or inflatable walls. Underwater lights are capped at 15 volts, and filter-pump receptacles must sit at least ten feet from the pool's edge.
