Unincorporated Newton County requires every homeowners' association to register with the development services department, listing the HOA's officers, management company and registered agent. Existing HOAs had to register by December 31, 2012, new HOAs must register within 30 days of formation, and every HOA files an annual update each January under Sec. 34-69.
