Generator Noise
Emergency generators are exempt from Washington County's industrial noise ceiling while running for a facility's essential operations during an emergency or a power interruption, under Zoning Ordinance Section 18.97(c)(5). Outside that emergency window, a generator's noise at a PI-zoned facility must meet the Section 18.97(b) decibel table.
