Lot Coverage Limits

Will County caps building coverage, the roofed footprint of a house and its accessory buildings, at 20% of lot area in the E-1, E-2, R-1 and R-2 zoning districts, rising to 25% in R-2A, 30% in R-3, 40% in R-4 and 45% in R-5 and R-6 under Code § 155-3.30(B). Coverage is measured along the building line, and only space beneath a roof counts.
