Summary
Clark County bars anyone under 18 from public streets, parks and sidewalks after 10 p.m. on school nights and midnight on weekends, with a stricter midnight curfew on school holidays and summer break.
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, it is unlawful for any child under the age of eighteen years to be in or upon any public street, sidewalk, highway, park, vacant lot or other public place between the hours of ten p.m., Sunday through Thursday and five a.m. of the succeeding day, and between the hours of twelve midnight on Friday and Saturday and five a.m. of the succeeding day.

Clark County Code § 12.12.010 makes it unlawful for anyone under 18 to be in a public street, sidewalk, park, vacant lot or other public place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and between midnight and 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights. On school holidays and summer vacation the curfew runs midnight to 5 a.m. every night. Exceptions cover minors accompanied by a parent or an approved adult over 21, working teens, kids heading straight home from an event, interstate travel with parental consent, and emergency errands. A parent who knowingly lets a child violate curfew is also liable under § 12.12.025.

Violating curfew, or as a parent knowingly permitting it, carries a fine up to $300 under § 12.12.035; officers may cite the minor and release them to a parent or guardian, or to juvenile court services.
