Summary
Minors under 18 cannot idle or loiter on Buckeye streets or public places between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless accompanied by a parent or guardian; work and parent-directed errands are exempt.
It is unlawful for any person under eighteen (18) years of age to idle or loiter upon the streets or public places between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. unless such person is accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other adult having the legal care and custody of such person. It is unlawful for any parent, legal guardian or other adult having the legal care and custody of such person to encourage or allow such person to idle or loiter upon the streets or public places between the hours specified in this section unless accompanied by such parent, legal guardian or other adult having the legal care and custody of the person. The provisions of this section shall not apply when the person is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, legal guardian or other adult having the legal care and custody of the person and shall not apply to persons under eighteen (18) years of age that are going directly to, or coming directly from, their employment, or that are in the course of their employment.
