Full Breakdown
Under County Code Section 41.125, once a County park's closing hours take effect, a person may not enter or remain in the park, or park, leave, or store a vehicle there, unless they hold a valid camping permit or other written authorization from the Department of Parks and Recreation. Section 41.105 gives the Director authority to set each park's specific hours of operation by regulation and post them on-site, so exact times vary park by park rather than appearing as a single number in the code itself. Park rangers may order anyone who ignores closing hours to leave under Section 41.106.
Violations & Fines
Violating the closing-hours rule is a misdemeanor under Section 41.107, since Section 41.125 is not on the list of sections reduced to an infraction; a park ranger may also order a violator to leave under Section 41.106.
