Grays Harbor County, WA Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

The county's park use ordinance, Chapter 12.12, fixes Grays Harbor County Park's operating hours in Section 12.12.060 at eight a.m. to ten p.m. daily, May through August; the code does not print separate hours for the off-season months. Section 12.12.050 backs the schedule with a general duty to obey posted park signs, so the county can adjust or narrow hours further with signage without amending the ordinance itself. Section 12.12.080 makes it unlawful to leave a vehicle in the park after closure time, or to park in a manner that violates posted signs or impedes park traffic, and any vehicle left in violation of the posted rules, including one left after closing, is subject to impound and tow-away at the sole expense of the vehicle's owner.

Enforcement of the park's hours and vehicle rules falls to the director of the county fair and pavilion department, who administers the park under Section 12.12.020, working with the Sheriff's Office where a criminal violation, such as remaining in the park after hours despite posted closure signs, is charged. Under Section 12.12.120, violations of sections outside the hunting and sign-posting provisions, including the closure and vehicle rules, are punishable by a civil fine of fifty dollars payable to Grays Harbor County.
