Little Rock, AR Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

Section 32-321 of the Little Rock Code of Ordinances, adopted by Ordinance No. m. The curfew applies citywide to every park under the parks and recreation department's control, not just posted problem sites, and a park's own signage can set different hours where the department has posted them. m. Subsection (b) gives the director of parks and recreation authority to extend the closing hour for approved scheduled events, covering things like night games, festivals, or fireworks shows the department has signed off on in advance.

Because Sec. 32-321 sits inside the parking-and-stopping division of Chapter 32 alongside Sections 32-302 through 32-322, the citywide penalty schedule at Sec. 32-323 controls the fine rather than the Code's general $1,000 misdemeanor cap in Sec. 00) if paid after thirty days or following a conviction in district court. A combination ticket and envelope is issued with the citation so the fine can be paid directly, by placing the payment in the meter penalty box attached to city parking meters or by paying the fine to the city.
