Bernalillo County, NM Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

Under BCC § 58-11, the county manager, not the ordinance text itself, sets operating hours for each unincorporated-county park and recreation facility and must post those hours at or near the entrance; hours can differ site to site, and the manager may also close all or part of a facility to protect wildlife habitat, rehabilitate vegetation, curb crime, or address safety hazards. Section 58-12(b)(1) then makes it unlawful to enter, remain in, or leave a vehicle unattended in a park facility once it's closed. That's a violation of the Code punishable under the general penalty in § 1-6. Albuquerque's city parks aren't covered here, the city sets its own hours.
