Subsection (B) lists thirteen activities the Village Board has declared unlawful within that plaza, and item (6) singles out operating or flying drones anywhere in Harmony Square unless the Village of Tinley Park approves the flight. The same list bars riding bicycles, scooters or skateboards on the plaza, smoking or vaping, bringing dogs onto the turf or water feature, carrying glass bottles or weapons, camping overnight, littering, driving on the plaza, wearing ice skates, and grilling over the artificial turf, so the drone ban is one piece of a broader effort to control activity in a single high-use public space rather than a citywide aviation ordinance.

04 is the only provision in the Village Code that mentions drones at all. A commercial operator wanting to fly in the plaza, for photography, inspection or any other purpose, needs the Village's approval first under the same subsection that governs recreational flying there. The regulation was added by Ord. 2025-O-027, passed August 19, 2025, alongside the rest of the Harmony Square conduct rules.
