Residential fences in unincorporated PBC are limited to 6 feet in side and rear yards and 4 feet in front yards. Corner lots have a 25-foot visibility triangle restriction. Maximum 8 feet allowed adjacent to commercial or arterial roadways with permit.
PBC ULDC Article 5.B governs fences. The 4-foot front-yard limit applies from the front building line forward. Pool barriers must be 4 feet minimum per FL Building Code §454. Walls (CMU/stucco) follow the same height rules as fences. Agricultural Residential lots may erect 8-foot perimeter fencing without special permit. Hedges over 6 feet are not regulated as fences.
