8.24.060 Regulations. A. Those fireworks which are classified as 'dangerous fireworks' under Section 12505 of the California Health and Safety Code are prohibited, except that such fireworks as are defined and classified as 'safe and sane fireworks' in Section 12529 of the California Health and Safety Code may be displayed, sold and used pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and not otherwise. H. Fireworks stands will be allowed only on property in the city which has commercial or industrial zoning. Q. Fireworks shall be sold only between the hours of nine a.m. and eleven p.m. daily from June 29th through July 4th. 8.24.120 Administrative fines. A. Each person who violates any provision of this code, or any provision of state law, as it relates to the possession, use, storage and/or display of 'dangerous fireworks'...shall be subject to the imposition and payment of an administrative fine or fines as provided below: First $2,000 / Second $3,000 / Third and subsequent violations $4,000. B. Each person who violates any provision...as it relates to the sale of 'dangerous fireworks'...shall be subject to...an administrative fine of $4,000 for each violation.
