140(A) of the Vanderburgh County Zoning Code limits how often a property in a residential or office-commercial district can host a garage or yard sale: no more than two sales per calendar year on any one premises located in the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, R-5, CO-1, or CO-2 zoning districts, and no single sale may run more than three consecutive days. 030 covers a sale conducted by the owner or occupant, inside a residence, garage, or accessory building or outside of it, of personal property the seller already owned rather than items acquired for resale, so a resale or flea-market-style operation running out of a house doesn't qualify for this exemption from normal commercial-use rules.
