Ohio's Cottage Food Law (ORC 3715.024) allows Dublin residents to produce and sell non-potentially hazardous foods from home without a license or inspection. Annual gross sales are capped and labeling requirements apply.
Ohio cottage food producers may sell baked goods, jams, jellies, candy, granola, dry herbs, and similar shelf-stable items directly to consumers at home, farmers markets, and via delivery within Ohio. No license, kitchen inspection, or registration is required, though the Ohio Department of Agriculture may inspect on complaint. Foods must be labeled with producer name and address, product name, ingredients, net weight, and a statement that the product is home produced. Potentially hazardous foods (meat, dairy, canned vegetables, baked goods requiring refrigeration) are excluded and require a home bakery or food processing license. Dublin imposes no additional cottage-food license but the home-occupation zoning standards still apply.
