Operators must hold a valid state license, from the Department of Human Services for child care or the Department of Health for adult day care, and register that license with the city's Development Services Department under § 10-14(b). Family and large family child care homes must also meet the state licensing standards at 59 O.S. § 1000.31 per § 10-36(b).
