Cobb County's residential zoning code (Chapter 134) permits home occupations as accessory uses across all residential districts, subject to consistent standards. The occupation must be conducted entirely within the dwelling unit, using no more than 25% of the total floor area. Only persons living in the dwelling unit may be employed. No clients or customers are allowed on premises except for individual instruction (tutoring, music lessons, arts and crafts β limited to individual sessions). No deliveries of supplies or pickups by commercial carriers are permitted. No outside storage associated with the home occupation. An Occupational Tax Certificate from the Cobb County Tax Commissioner is required.
