Easiest Cities to Run a Home Business (2026)
Where zoning rules work with you, not against you
Where does your city rank?
Running a business from home is common, but the zoning rules around it are not always obvious. Some cities allow almost any non-disruptive business with a simple registration. Others cap client visits, ban signage entirely, or require conditional use permits that involve public hearings and neighbor notifications. This ranking shows where the rules are least likely to get in your way.
