Cities with the Strictest Parking Rules (2026)
Where your RV, boat, or extra car might be a problem
Where does your city rank?
Parking rules are one of those things nobody thinks about until they get a citation taped to their windshield. Rules about RV storage, overnight street parking, commercial vehicles in driveways, and how many cars you can keep on your property vary a lot from city to city. This ranking covers the cities where parking enforcement hits hardest.
Top 25: Tightest Rules
Based on each city's parking and vehicle storage ordinances. "Strict" cities actively enforce RV/boat bans, overnight parking limits, and driveway requirements with regular citations. "Permissive" cities have few residential parking restrictions beyond basic safety rules.
