050(F) treats certain vehicle parking as a public nuisance under Palmdale's property maintenance code. Subsection (F)(2) makes it a nuisance to park, store, or keep 'any recreational vehicle, trailer, boat, or camper within that area of a residential lot customarily considered to be the front yard,' and it defines the only lawful driveway space as a single paved lane running straight from the street to an attached garage or carport, a 12-foot-wide lane to a detached rear garage, or a 12-foot-wide lane to an approved side-yard parking area; parking on any other part of the front yard, paved or not, is prohibited outright.

Subsection (F)(5) separately bars parking, storing, or keeping the same vehicles in the side yard 'except when parked on a rock or paved surface,' and excludes a side-yard driveway that leads to an approved garage from that restriction. 150) makes it unlawful to park or leave standing 'any recreational vehicle, trailer, boat, or camper' in a residential zone for 72 or more consecutive hours on any highway, street, alley, or publicly owned property, measuring 'left standing' as not having moved more than a block or 300 feet, whichever is greater, from where it first stopped.

Together the two chapters mean an RV can sit in an approved driveway indefinitely, but cannot occupy the open front or side yard, and cannot camp on the street past 72 hours.
