DCMC Section 10.32.165 prohibits parking or storing vehicles, boats, boat trailers, trailers, or camper shells in the front yard of any residential lot, whether improved or unimproved, including the lawn area. The only exception is parking on the improved driveway area, where width cannot exceed the garage entrance by more than 6 inches on either side. Side and rear yard storage may be allowed subject to zoning setbacks. RVs left on public streets are subject to the 72-hour abandonment rule under CVC §22651.
