130 splits recreational parking into two tracks. Subsection B is an absolute ban: no person may park a recreational vehicle or trailer of any kind without motive power on a public street, and the code lists what that covers by name, including boat trailers, campers, pop-ups, trailer coaches, semitrailers, travel trailers, utility trailers, and portable storage units such as PODS, plus any other vehicle without its own motive power designed to be towed. There is no time-limit exception for a towed camper or boat trailer parked on a street; it is barred regardless of duration.

Motorized recreational vehicles are treated differently under subsection C: a motorhome or similar RV with its own engine may park on a public street for up to two hours. That window extends to twelve hours if the RV is actually and continuously loading or unloading goods or merchandise, and if someone needs longer than that for loading or unloading, the chief of police or a designee can issue a permit extending the stay up to seventy-two hours, but no more than two such permits may be issued to the same person or the same RV in a calendar year.

The same subsection separately limits commercial or truck-tractor-type vehicles of 12,000 pounds or more, capping their on-street or municipal-lot parking at two hours as well. 130 was last amended in 2019 (Ord. No. G22-19), following earlier revisions dating to 1990 and 2004 that progressively tightened the rule.
