Atlanta Code Β§16-28.013 restricts RV and recreational equipment parking in residential zones. Unless stored in a garage, RVs must be parked behind the nearest portion of a building to the street. Height limit of 6 feet for side-yard storage.
Under Atlanta Zoning Code Β§16-28.013, RVs, boats, and recreational trailers may not be stored in front yards unless in a garage or carport. In side yards not adjacent to a street, stored equipment may not exceed 6 feet in height (excluding masts and antennas). On-street parking for loading and unloading is permitted for up to 12 hours. No RV may be used for living, sleeping, or business purposes on a residential lot.
