Failure to repair a malfunctioning irrigation system within 48 hours is a water-waste violation.
LVVWD water waste fees start at $80 for a first offense, $160 for a second, $320 for a third, escalating to $1,280 for a fifth offense in a 12-month period. Commercial customers face higher fees.
