55, adopted by Ordinance 605-24 in 2024, governs bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters, defined together as 'e-conveyances,' on Murrieta streets. 090 requires anyone riding slower than the flow of traffic to stay as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway, with exceptions for overtaking another bicycle or vehicle, preparing for a left turn into an intersection or driveway, or avoiding a fixed or moving hazard, a substandard-width lane, or a lane too narrow to share safely with a vehicle. Riders may not travel more than two abreast.
