Oklahoma City, OK Mobility & Curb Rules: Shared E-Scooter Rules (2026)

Under Article IX of Chapter 13, anyone operating a share vehicle system (including scooters) in Oklahoma City's rights-of-way must hold a City license capped initially at 250 vehicles per company. Scooters must be parked upright on a hard surface and can never sit within 10 feet of an intersection, in landscape beds, at bus/streetcar/taxi stands, in loading zones, vehicle parking spots, driveways or curb cuts, or in any one spot for more than 24 hours. The City can also impose geo-fencing to block scooters from entering or parking in designated restricted rights-of-way, and operators must relocate a noncompliant scooter within two hours of notice or the City impounds it.
