Under Sec. 50-301, running a sound amplification device or instrument so it produces loud or unreasonable noise audible more than 100 feet away is a public nuisance and unlawful during set hours: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11:59 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and on state and federal holidays, unless the operator has first obtained a county permit. The rule applies only in unincorporated parts of the county, outside any city, village, or incorporated town.
