New Hope Borough, a significant tourism destination along the Delaware River, enforces stricter amplification rules due to its dense mixed-use downtown and proximity to Lambertville, NJ across the river. Bristol Borough's waterfront entertainment district has dedicated noise provisions for outdoor concerts. Residential amplified music across all Bucks municipalities is governed by general noise ordinances, typically with quiet hours from 10 or 11 PM to 7 AM. Sound measurements are taken at the nearest receiving property line, commonly capping residential noise at 55-65 dBA during daytime and 45-55 dBA overnight.
