Sound is measured at the receiver property line or 25 feet from the receiver building, whichever is farther.
Exceeding the limits is a Class A violation under ORS Chapter 153. Short exceedances of 5 dBA (up to one minute) and 10 dBA are separately capped in MCC 8.45.060(E)(2).
