Existing gas-powered leaf blowers may still be used in West Sacramento but their operation is subject to the general 'loud, unnecessary, or unusual noise' nuisance rule of §19.05. Use during typical sleeping hours (before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m.) is the most common trigger for complaints. Electric leaf blowers are widely encouraged. Blowing yard debris into the street or storm drain is a §13.10 stormwater violation.
