Section 19-151(1) caps sound measured at or within the receiving property line: residential, public space or agricultural land gets 66 dBA and 71 dBC from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., falling to 55 dBA and 60 dBC from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. A pure tone cuts those limits by five dB. Where a meter reading is not workable, section 19-151(2) lets a deputy find a noise disturbance on the scene instead.
