In urban-zoned unincorporated Clark County it is a nuisance to park or store truck tractors and semi-trucks in residential front yards outside the driveway. Required off-street parking spaces also may not be used to store business trucks.
CCC 9.24.010(2)(h) lists as a nuisance: 'Truck tractors and semi-trucks as defined by RCW 46.04.655 or 46.04.530 parked or stored in residentially zoned areas in front yards outside the driveway, connecting the street.' Separately, Title 40 off-street parking must stay available for operable passenger cars: CCC 40.340.010(A)(3)(a) says required spaces 'shall be available for the parking of operable passenger automobiles of residents, customers, patrons and employees only, and shall not be used for the storage of vehicles or materials, or for the parking of trucks used in conducting the business or use.'
Nuisance enforcement; owner notified and given a compliance period before penalties or abatement. Zoning/parking violations enforced under Title 40.
