Volusia County restricts parking of commercial vehicles in residential zones. Restrictions typically apply to vehicles over 10,000 lbs, vehicles with oversized commercial signage, and multi-axle vehicles. Overnight storage of heavy trucks, semi-trailers, and construction equipment in residential areas is prohibited. Temporary parking for active deliveries or service calls is allowed. HOAs and CDDs may impose additional restrictions in planned communities.
Parking citations $50 to $250. Repeat violations: increased fines. HOA/CDD fines per governing documents.
