Osceola County bars parking or storing dual-rear-wheel commercial vehicles on unincorporated streets and rights-of-way except while loading. In affected residential areas, a large vehicle (over 15,000 lbs GVW) must be kept in a garage or enclosed structure, fully shielded from public view.
Osceola County Code § 22-39(3) prohibits parking or storing a motor vehicle with dual rear wheels on unincorporated streets and rights-of-way except temporarily while loading or unloading, exempting emergency, utility and government vehicles. Separately, Chapter 23, Article III applies to heavy trucks: § 23-54 defines a 'large vehicle' as one exceeding 15,000 pounds gross vehicular weight, and § 23-55 requires that in affected residential areas such a vehicle be parked inside a garage or enclosed structure, fully shielded from public view. Recreational vehicles and boat-and-trailer combinations are exempt from the large-vehicle rule. Cities and HOAs may add stricter commercial-vehicle bans.
Enforced through Chapter 7 code enforcement; civil citations are $250 unless a different penalty is set, and continuing nuisance violations can be fined up to $250/day (first) and $500/day (repeat).
